Nine Illegal Workers Found At Military Base

Nine illegal aliens working for a contractor were arrested after being found at a California military base on Thursday.

SAN DIEGO (Reuters) – U.S. police arrested nine illegal immigrants working for a contractor at a California military base on Thursday, in an operation underscoring a threat to national security from fake identity documents, authorities said. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents in San Diego said the employees worked for a contractor at Miramar Marine Corps Air Station, and had used fake permanent residency cards obtained on a thriving black market in the city to gain work.

Authorities call this a threat to national security from fake identity documents. It’s amazing that they made this claim, but the lets take a look at just one small part of the U.S.

The operation was the latest in an ongoing sweep by ICE that has discovered more than 850 undocumented workers using fake identity cards to work at sensitive military bases and airports in San Diego County.

850 in one county alone? What about the rest of the United States of America? And yet they don’t consider this a serious enough potential terrorist threat to secure our borders and start serious cracking down on illegal aliens in this country?  Oh that’s right, the 90 year old grandma that’s ancestors came here legally on the Mayflower is more a threat….right?  WRONG!

Illegals Detained After Discovery of Military Explosives at Recycling Plant

WRAL

Brothers Detained In Scrap Plant Ammo Case (February 15, 2008)

SANFORD – Federal authorities are holding two brothers in connection with the discovery of military explosives at a Raleigh scrap-metal recycling plant, authorities said Friday.

Meanwhile, a team of munitions experts from Fort Bragg blew up the last of the devices that were found Tuesday at Raleigh Metals Recycling after at least one exploded.

Javier Gomez-Urieta and Salvador Gomez-Urieta were arrested Tuesday on immigration violations and were being held for questioning in munitions case by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, said Capt. David Smith, of the Sanford Police Department.

Members of the Sanford Police Department’s Special Enforcement Unit searched a mobile home at 2725 Carver Drive in Sanford and found artillery shells in the yard similar to the ones that were dropped off at Raleigh Metals Recycling plant, Smith said. Most of the shells were spent, but at least two were live rounds, he said.

The FBI and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives also are investigating the case.

At least 18 anti-tank projectiles and three 90 mm rifle rounds were dropped off at Raleigh Metals Recycling last week in a load of scrap. As the material was processed on Tuesday, at least one of the devices went off, injuring two plant workers.

Scrap plant owner Greg Brown provided authorities with information that identified the people who sold the munitions to the plant, and Raleigh police traced two men to the Sanford area, Smith said.

The men had several addresses in the area, making it more difficult for officers to locate them, he said. One man was found in Broadway, while the other was found in Harnett County, he said.

“That’s a terrible thing going on up there,” said Tony Bradley, who lives near the Sanford mobile home park where the artillery shells were found. “I’m thinking about it every time I see it on the news. I see another one being exploded, and to think that’s here in our little community, that’s earth-shattering.”

Munitions experts from Fort Bragg found unexploded ordnance in the machinery and in bales of scrap at Raleigh Metals Recycling and decided it was safer to detonate the devices at the site than to move them elsewhere.

Thirty-four detonations were used over four days to destroy the devices, and police said Friday afternoon that the process had been completed.

The detonations required Raleigh police to close Garner Road between Rush Street and Newcombe Road every day since Tuesday and forced nearby residents to evacuate their homes three times this week. The residents were allowed to return home Wednesday and Thursday night sand told to leave the next morning as detonations resumed.

“This is an unusual situation that’s inconvenienced and disrupted the lives of 25 to 30 people, but as always, safety is important,” Mayor Charles Meeker said. “That has been the priority, and that’s how it’s been handled.”

City officials promised Friday to work with area residents whose lives have been disrupted by the incident. Updated information would be hung on front doors in the neighborhoods near the plant Friday afternoon and calls would be made to all residents in the area, Meeker said.

“We thought this might be a one-day operation,” City Councilman James West said. “We are truly committed to making sure people get their lives back to normal and that they’re safe.”

Brown said all of his employees would go through new training before Raleigh Metals Recycling reopens. An ex-military officer who specializes in munitions would be brought in to teach workers how to distinguish live ammunition from spent shells, he said.

The plant routinely accepts spent ammunition for processing but has a policy against buying live rounds, Brown said.

Three Afghans Arrested at Indian Airport Trying to Pass as Mexicans

February 14, 2008
“Three Afghan nationals were detained at Nedumbassery Airport after they were deported from Kuwait while on their way to France.
The three persons claiming to be from Mexico told the airport emigration wing of the State Police that they possessed Malaysian passports.

Apparently the forged passports carried the names of Antonio Jopes Luan (42), Javier Fanchez Alberto (20), and Antonio Lopez Ernesto (16).

Of the three only one could speak English and the rest could not communicate. Shockingly none of the individuals were conversant in Spanish, which is the language of Mexico, yet proved to be fluent in Hindi.

The three also carried upon them several phone numbers of people from Afghanistan.

The three, who were not being cooperative with officials, made it difficult for investigating officers to get an idea of their agenda. Due to this lack of cooperation, and the inability to know what the three were planning, they are currently being held at the Chengamanad police station where they face further interrogation.

UPDATE – February 16, 2008

Investigation has revealed that the three Afghanistan nationals passports were original. The Emigration personnel at the Kochi airport were informed by the Mexican Embassy in Delhi on Friday that the copies of the Mexican passports seized from the deported Afghanistan nations were found genuine.

The Mexican Ambassador confirmed that the E-series passports of Mexico were the same as the copies of the passports in possession of the Afghanistan nationals. The Ambassador also requested that the original passports be handed over to him for them to find if the documents were stolen, and to locate the Embassy or Consulate from where they were lost. But Emigration personnel were not in position to send the originals due to their being produced as evidence in the Judicial First Class Magistrate.

Experts from various Central and State Intelligence agencies, including RAW, could find no difference in the seized passports from original Mexican passports.

This investigation is ongoing at this time and many questions remain.

Illegals Demand California, Threaten Violence in March, Americans Visit FBI!

Oh this one is just the cream of the crop. Not only are they protesting ICE raids to find Employers hiring Illegal Aliens (breaking the law), and arresting the illegals in this country (breaking the law), but they are trying to claim it now a “new civil rights movement”. I’m sorry but that is just a slap in the face to all Black-Americans across this country. But they also dare to demand an entire State be their Sanctuary.

“March on Saturday to demand that OUR entire state become a Sanctuary for immigrants.”

http://www.la.indymedia.org/calendar/event_display_detail.php?event_id=6084

Umm excuse me, but if these individuals were legal immigrants they would not be raided, not forced to any of the woe is me dribble, and would be fully protected and welcome to live anywhere. But these people are ILLEGAL ALIENS who intentionally, deliberately, and with clear through and mind broke United States laws to enter this country under full control of their own body functions, and continue to live here being of sound mind and body to make logical and rational thoughts, without any attempt or remorse to try to become citizens or even legal immigrants.

I personally feel this is the bait. They stated they would have a violent encounter at their next march, and I feel this is a baiting by them to try to drive the American people out to counter them, then if they start any form of incident to twist it around so it is the “American peoples” fault and once again display themselves as a victim. I would suggest instead everyone print off as much of the materials citing violence, threats, invasion, take over etc as can be found and use their time wisely on that day to visit the nearest FBI office with a care package.

Officials discover Mexico-U.S. tunnel

MEXICO CITY — Police in Tijuana, Mexico, have discovered a narrow tunnel under the border into the U.S.

Officials say it was used to smuggle drugs and possibly undocumented migrants.

More than 50 tunnels have been discovered under the U.S.-Mexico border. Increased border surveillance following 9/11 is thought to have prompted drug smugglers to go underground to avoid detection.

The latest discovery was made inside an area guarded by Mexican Treasury Department officials. Officials are investigating how the 32-foot-long tunnel was able to operate so close to where federal officials were on duty.

Authorities found shovels, lanterns, batteries and other tools, but no drugs.

U.S. officials have been filling at least six tunnels along the 2,000-mile border, at a cost of nearly $3 million.

No Comprende: Illegal Kills Cop – We Pay For His Attorneys

6-20-7

An illegal-immigrant pleaded not quilty Tuesday to murdering Kenosha County (Wisconsin) Sheriff’s Deputy Frank Fabiano, Jr.” reads the first paragraph of the local newspaper, the Kenosha News today.

Remember the illegal – wandering around the US leaving a road of crimes behind now noted elsewhere – shot and killed a Kenosha police officer on a routine traffic stop recently.

Two attorneys and an interpreter have been hired (at tax payer expense) to offer legal aid for the jailed illegal, in this land where illegals commit crimes most Americans would not – even hiding one’s own name
as does the presumed cop-killer, ‘Ezequiel Lopez-Quintero’ (a name created for the sake of the trial). It is unknown who sought the legal aid for the accused (that will be interesting, but you guess).

Oh, the accused gunman remains in jail on the homicide charge  ($1 million dollars bail). He plead “Not Guilty”" while the funeral of the police officer was held with hundreds of legal Americans and police officers attending…

and a grieving family remaining.

Oh, the legal charges against the accused are “first-degree intentional homicide and carrying a concealed weapon.” Readers note carefully: there is NO charge listed on roaming the country illegally, having no identification, using 5 aliases, using multiple social security cards, and most likely much more. None  of these are crimes, apparently, for an illegal who wishes to be an adventurer,  a terrorist, “migrant worker” or an exploiter of our land and laws – after all these years of invasion by the illegals gladly accepted by our own
government for votes, cheap labor, and underwritten by our political apathy.

Border Patrol Told To Stand Down In Arizona

Washington Times – June 20, 2007

Border Patrol told to stand down in Arizona.

Quote
U.S. Border Patrol agents have been ordered not to arrest illegal aliens along the section of the Arizona border where protesters patrolled last month because an increase in apprehensions there would prove the effectiveness of Minuteman volunteers, The Washington Times has learned.
More than a dozen agents, all of whom asked not to be identified for fear of retribution, said orders relayed by Border Patrol supervisors at the Naco, Ariz., station made it clear that arrests were “not to go up” along the 23-mile section of border that the volunteers monitored to protest illegal immigration.
“It was clear to everyone here what was being said and why,” said one veteran agent. “The apprehensions were not to increase after the Minuteman volunteers left. It was as simple as that.”
Another agent said the Naco supervisors “were clear in their intention” to keep new arrests to an “absolute minimum” to offset the effect of the Minuteman vigil, adding that patrols along the border have been severely limited.
Border Patrol Chief David V. Aguilar at the agency’s Washington headquarters called the accusations “outright wrong,” saying that supervisors at the Naco station had not blocked agents from making arrests and that the station’s 350 agents were being “supported in carrying out” their duties.
“Border Patrol agents are the front line of defense against terrorism,” Chief Aguilar said, adding that the 11,000 agents nationwide are “meeting that challenge, head-on … as daunting a task as that may sound.”
The chief — a former head of the agency’s Tucson sector, which includes the Naco station — said that with the world watching the Arizona border because of the Minuteman Project, agents in Naco “demonstrated flexibility and resilience in carrying out their critical homeland security duties and responsibilities.”
But Rep. Tom Tancredo, Colorado Republican, yesterday said “credible sources” within the Border Patrol also had told him of the decision by Naco supervisors to keep new arrests to a minimum, saying he was angry but not surprised.
“It’s like telling a cop to stand by and watch burglars loot a store but don’t arrest any of them,” he said. “This is another example of decisions being made at the highest levels of the Border Patrol that are hurting morale and helping to rot the agency from within.
“I worry about our efforts in Congress to increase the number of agents,” he said. “Based on these kinds of orders, we could spend the equivalent of the national debt and never have secure borders.”
Mr. Tancredo, chairman of the Congressional Immigration Reform Caucus, blamed the Bush administration for setting an immigration enforcement tone that suggests to those enforcing the law that he is not serious about secure borders.
“We need to get the president to come to grips with the seriousness of the problem,” he said. “I know he doesn’t like to utter the words, ‘I was wrong,’ but if we have another incident like September 11 by people who came through our borders without permission, I hope he doesn’t have to say ‘I’m sorry.’ ”
During the Minuteman vigil, Border Patrol supervisors in Arizona discounted their efforts, saying a drop in apprehensions during their protest was because of the Mexican government’s deployment of military and police south of the targeted area and a new federal program known as the Arizona Border Control Initiative that brought manpower increases to the state.
The Naco supervisors blamed the volunteers for unnecessarily tripping sensors, disturbing draglines and interfering with the normal operations of the agents. They said that their impact on illegals was “negligible” and that civilians should leave immigration enforcement “to the professionals.”
Several field agents credited the volunteers with cutting the flow of illegal aliens in the targeted Naco area, saying the number of apprehended illegals dropped from an average of 500 a day to less than 15 a day.
More than 850 volunteers, in a protest of the lax immigration enforcement policies of the White House and Congress, sought to reduce the flow of illegal aliens along a popular immigration corridor on the Arizona-Mexico border near Naco by reporting illegals to the Border Patrol as they crossed into the United States.
Their goal was to show that increased manpower on the border would effectively deter illegal immigration. Organizers said the protest resulted in Border Patrol arrests of 349 illegal aliens.
Area residents, in a half-page ad in the Sunday edition of the Sierra Vista Herald, told the volunteers: “Thanks for doing what our government won’t — close the border to illegal aliens. It was the quietest month we’ve had in many years … You made us feel safe because the border was closed.”[link to www.washtimes.com]
