America An Ultimatum?

Filed under: Uncategorized — Administrator @ 10:23 pm

In preparing for the March For America event, I have been shocked by the number of times I have found Let Freedom Ring America, and the March For America approached with ultimatums. Some are mild such as the refusal to attend if they are unable to promote something at the event. Others can not be viewed in any other way then threats, such as if we dare continue to hold the March or allow someone to come those issuing the threats will do all they can to destroy it. The most shocking element of those threats are that they are not brought by the opposition, they are from those who are well known leaders or prominent individuals within the anti-illegal immigration movement itself.

One must question why these threats are directed towards not only destroying an event which would allow for the American people across the country to unite against open borders and amnesty, but also have been used to control the actions of many smaller grass root groups and even larger known groups from being able to function at all. Is it truly that important and beneficial to this country that the American people be forced to return to only what they can do behind a computer screen, or in some cases, left to do nothing at all?

Myself, I’m wondering when America became an ultimatum, and when our actions to protect it became dictated from those issuing them from within the movement. This far from beneficial or acceptable behavior has become the norm among the inner workings of some anti-illegal groups and secure border organizations. It is common enough to the point that some followers search for the latest dirt much like they do celebrities in national tabloids. Now this is not saying they are all like that, in fact many are not, but there are those that have and do hold to this policy as firmly as they claim they do the U.S. Constitution, and these are the ones you will see on the evening news or read about in the papers. Why? not for what they have to say on the illegal immigration or open border issues, but rather because those that see them will then follow the dirt trail, and that makes for good reporting. Even more discouraging is that this same behavior is being tolerated, accepted and even nurtured within the movement. So again I’m left to ask the question, since when is protecting America an ultimatum?

With the future of the United States of America at stake, and with the very real reality of a North American Union just on the other side of the door, is there room for ultimatums and threats within the movement anymore? I for one don’t believe so. Such actions and reactions taken are destructive to the future of this country; our ability to secure our nations borders; stopping the North American movement; and frankly make this movement very vulnerable and extremely weak.

For this American, with a very small place in the movement and a two big pieces (children) for why to protect this country, America is not, nor ever will be, based on ultimatums.
